About the Committee
The Garden Valley Citizens Committee (GVCC) was formed after the voters rejected the Garden Valley Fire Department’s November 2025 tax levy increase. GVCC was founded by a group of concerned citizens with many years of both volunteer and career firefighting and EMS experience. Even though our initial focus is with the Garden Valley Fire Protection District, we see this committee as able to serve Garden Valley and Boise County alongside all government agencies. Our goal is simple. We want to help plan a better future for fire and EMS response in Garden Valley following the failure of the levy increase.
